8 Bottles of Juice

Winter ... even though it should be Spring.
Showers, ice cold wind that pierces through your skin, giving you the chills right down to the bones.

Since we got back from China, I have been feeling extremely sluggish, lethargic, demotivated, in-need of inspiration, you name it. Partly because the other half fell sick for a few weeks, and my body has been working extremely hard not to fall ill.

Which brings us to the title of this post - 8 Bottles of Juice. That is how much I consume a day, in this 3-day juice cleanse from a local juicery. Is that even a word? "Juicery" - With all the internet lingo and new words resulted from that added into the dictionary, I am not even sure what is a word and what is a slang anymore. Hmm.

Before I committed to the cleanse (which happened when I submitted my debit card into the device and punched in my pin to approve the transaction), I read mixed reviews, mainly on how hard juice cleanses are, the temptation to eat solid food, constant hunger pangs, etc.

First day down, and... I think I feel fine? Crashed around 3.30pm, took a 2-hour nap. That's me, without caffeine in my system. Second day is supposed to be 'harder', wish me luck.

Then again, comparing my daily food intake/habits and everyone else's, I tend to consume one meal a day, at most two. Some days I even forgot to eat, especially when I am too busy meeting deadlines.

Loving work, in a way. Although, I miss stretching the creative side of my brain. I want to enroll into regular classes, though that might plunge a hole in my monthly finances. Adult life - too many commitments. Well, more so for me with my brilliant yet insane idea/plan to save up for the future. Then there is the student loan repayment. I would make education free if I can. There is a list of skills and courses that I would like to add to my professional development. Anyone wants to contribute to my education fund?

And this concludes my once in a significant moon blog post, before I start jabbering and waffling on to update you about things that don't matter to you in the last few months.
Thanks for reading.
